Small Room Size

I recently stayed at Kings in Ohakune for a weekend getaway. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, even ensuring we had breakfast before our early start. The beer at the onsite bar was always cold, and the meals were huge. Despite Contiki busloads being there, we were placed away from them and didn't hear any noise. The location was perfect, within walking distance of town and great restaurants, with a view of the mountain. The rooms were clean and the bathrooms modern. a great stay!

Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Loved the adventure base with fantastic outdoor activities like skiing, hiking, and kayaking. And let's not forget the best soil in NZ for those sweet carrots! Oh, and did I mention the exclusive tap beer from the micro-brewery?

Carrot juice stains are so hard to get out of silk.

Located near train station. Great view of Mt Ruapehu. Friendly, kind staff. Lovely walk to town. Beautiful location for walks & bike rides.

The value for money at Kings was excellent, with spacious and comfortable rooms. The location was perfect, close to the mountain and within walking distance to attractions like the carrot playground. The staff at Kings were friendly and helpful, ensuring that we had a great stay.

kings in ohakune made our valentine's day weekend unforgettable. the staff were accommodating and the room cozy and clean. the mountain view from the deck was stunning. we loved the comfortable beds and the great water pressure in the shower.

Nothing, it is perfect.

Great location for exploring the area and breathtaking views of Mount Ruapehu. The staff were friendly and attentive, going above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay. The rooms were clean and well-heated, perfect for the cold weather. Plus, the free breakfast and outdoor hot tub were definite perks!

There were a few downsides to our stay. there was no fridge or cooking facilities in our room, which made it difficult to store or prepare food.
